World book day! #readachievesuceed

For world book day, Year 3 visited the Annie Kenny statue to explore our inspirational character.

We learned about the women's rights movement and how Annie Kenny fought to ensure that women won the right to vote in parliament.

We produced some amazing art work based on the Annie Kenny statue in the style of Hannah Hoch.

We also produced some excellent propaganda posters that informed people of why they needed to push for votes for women!
