World Book Day Fun in Year 5! 🌍📚

This week, we had a wonderful time celebrating World Book Day in Year 5! To make the day extra special, the children came to school wearing their pyjamas, which created a cosy and exciting atmosphere for reading and sharing stories together.

One of the highlights of the day was when we visited Year 1 to share some of our favourite books. The children paired up and took turns reading stories to each other, showing fantastic enthusiasm and confidence as they brought the stories to life.

It was lovely to see the children sharing their love of reading and being fantastic role models for the younger pupils. We had a brilliant day celebrating the joy of books! 📖✨
