Welcome to the Stone Age #beanexpertlearner

This week we have started learning about our new topic' The Stone Age'. We spent Tuesday afternoon researching all about the Stone Age by using books, websites and vidoes. We worked in groups to make some wonderful mindmaps filled with all the fascinating facts we found out. We then shared our new favourite fact with the class. 

At the end of the lesson, we explored cave paintings that were found from the stone age. We had a go at making our own wonderful cave painting taking inspiration from the paintings in the past! 

In English we have started exploring the book 'The Stone Age Boy'. We will be working this week on describing the setting of the campfire where Om takes the boy to meet her friends and family.
