Trip to Oldham Gallery! #beanexpertlearner

What a fabulous trip we had at Oldham Gallery! We had the pleasure of taking part in an exciting workshop all about animals, habitats and classification. We explored the differences between vertebrates and invertebrates and discussed different animal groups including mammals, birds, reptiles, fish and amphibians.

We worked really well within our groups as we rotated around different activities throughout the day. We carefully observed and sketched taxidermy animals, labelled their adaptations and explored how animals survive within their habitats. We also enjoyed playing classification games, creating food chains and identifying whether animals were carnivores, herbivores or omnivores.

To end the workshop, we listened carefully to beautiful nature poetry from The Lost Words. We were so proud of ourselves for representing the school so wonderfully and showing excellent teamwork, curiosity and enthusiasm throughout the day!
