This Week in Year 3 – Sun, Sand and Sarcophaguses! ☀️🍫

We’ve been absolutely loving the hot weather this week – it’s felt like we’ve been in Egypt! So much so, we used our imaginations and wrote letters to our friends all about an amazing trip to Egypt. From sailing down the Nile to visiting pyramids and trying new food, our letters were full of exciting adventures!

In DT, we’ve been working hard on our Ancient Egypt projects. We are now at the final stage of making our opening sarcophaguses – complete with mummies inside! The children have shown such creativity with their designs, and we can’t wait to show them off.

To finish off a fantastic week, we had a non-uniform day to raise chocolates for the chocolate tombola at the summer fair. Thank you to everyone who brought something in!
