The Gingerbread Man

This week in Reception, we read the traditional tale 'The Gingerbread Man'. We had lots of fun joining in with the repeated phrases and actions to retell the story.  Over the week we joined in lots of activities linked to the character. We tasted gingerbread at snack time, wrote our tricky words in ginger scented sand and even made our own gingerbread characters using gingerbread dough. We painted gingerbread characters using watercolours and decoracted gingerbread men using paper templates. We had a wonderful week learning all about the Gingerbread Man.
