The Colour Monster Goes to School

This week in Reception, we started our learning all about 'My Family and I'. We read the story, 'The Colour Monster Goes to School' and linked the story to our own feelings and experiences when starting Reception. We did our very first 'Writing Club' lesson and drew some fantastic colour monsters. We wrote some super magic codes and used our imaginations to describe our drawings. In Art, we created our own colour monsters and discussed feelings and emotions as we created them. What a wonderful week we had!
