Super scientists!

Date: 16th Sep 2022 @ 2:42pm

What a busy week it has been!

In English, Year 3 have written a retell of our story Lizzie and the birds.

In maths, we have been partitioning numbers to 1000!

Year 3 have also been learning about forces and magnets in Science.

This week, we used toy cars to test how different surfaces change the way objects move because of the force of friction.

We worked outside to experience friction on concreate, material and fake grass. We changed the height of the ramp and experimented with different pull forces.

We found that fake grass generated more friction and slowed the car down quicker.
