Super Scientists!

This week, we had an amazing visit from Adrian Bowden's travelling science show. We had a great time revisiting our knowledge of light and learned some really interesting facts before we embark on our sound unit next half term. The experiments Adrien showed us were really cool and we loved seeing how we can use every day items to investigate light and sound at home! Parents; hide your plastic straws.

We even linked it to our new learning on states of matter. We figured out that sound could travel through gasses and liquids but only some solids would allow sounds to travel through them. 

We can't wait to get back into class next week and do some more science!
