RHS Bridgewater

We had such a fun day visiting RHS Bridgewater as part of our Plants topic in Science. First we started the day having an explore of the huge woodlands, beautiful gardens and colourful greenhouses. We identified different plants in the environment and what flower or fruit each tree produced. After lunch, we had our workshop where we learn all about plants and how they are pollinated. We also learnt about how we use plants in medicine and food. We then ventured outside to plant our own sweet peas and then went for an adventure on search of deciduous and evergreen trees. We worked in small groups to take bark rubbings, and measurements of different trees.
