This week, we practised becoming confident and skilled researchers in Year 4!

We began our learning by exploring who the plebeians were and what their daily lives might have been like. We shared our ideas and wondered what a typical day could include, from their jobs to their homes and routines.

We then took our learning further by developing our research skills. We discussed how to choose useful sources and thought carefully about how we can tell if a source is reliable. We talked about trusting information from books, checking websites carefully and making sure the information matches across different sources.

After, we completed a carousel of research activities. We explored a range of sources, including books and QR codes linked to websites, to gather new information about plebeians. We worked brilliantly to find key facts and share our discoveries with each other!
