Year 3 have become expert learners about volcanoes! 

In English, we have been writing an explanation text about how to survive a volcanic eruption! We came up with 6 informative tips to help keep people safe! 

This week in Maths, we have been learning how to use a ruler to measure objects in the classroom! We have been looking at measuring objects in centimetres and millimetres! 

In Science, we have been looking at different rocks. This week, we investigated which rock would be best for a roof. We looked at which rocks were permeable and durable.
