Maps, Moons & Mnemonics!🗺️🌍🪐

What a fantastic first week back we’ve had! The children have settled in brilliantly and have already dived into lots of exciting new learning.

In Science, we began our new topic on Earth and Space. The children were fascinated to learn about the planets in our solar system and even created their own clever mnemonics to help remember the order of the planets — some of them were very creative and funny! 🌍🪐✨

In Geography, we explored Tudor maps and compared them to modern maps. The children were amazed to see how maps have changed over time and discussed how and why people would have travelled during the Tudor period. 🚢🗺️

It’s been wonderful to see everyone showing such curiosity, teamwork, and enthusiasm in their learning. We can’t wait to see what next week brings!
