Lights, Rivers, Action!💡🏞️🎬 #BeAnExpertLearner

Date: 5th Feb 2026 @ 11:05pm

This week we have been busy with lots of exciting learning across the curriculum.

In science, we worked in groups to investigate which materials make good electrical conductors. We built our own circuits and tested a range of different materials to see if the electricity could pass through them. We discovered that most classroom materials were actually insulators rather than conductors, which led to some great discussions and conclusions.

In geography, we explored the causes and effects of river pollution. We talked about how pollution can harm wildlife, damage habitats and affect the people who rely on rivers. We then created posters to encourage others to stop polluting our rivers and protect our local and global water sources. #BeAnEco-warrior

To end the week, we had an exciting introduction to our Shakespeare project. We are really looking forward to exploring the story, learning our parts and beginning to put our play together. #BeAPerformer.

What a fantastic and busy week of learning!
