In my heart

This week in Reception, we have continued our learning all about My Family and I and focussed on 'Feelings'. We read the story 'In my heart', and used the book to help us to explore different types of feelings we may experience. In our writing, we drew pictures of what makes our hearts happy. In Art, we used watercolours to paint our own hearts by using the front cover of our book as our inspiration. In Maths, we explored matching and sorting. We worked really hard to find things that matched and challenged ourselves to find trickier features that were the same not just colour or shape. What a wonderful week we had!
