Exploring Hinduism at Shree Swaminarayan Mandir! 🏛️ #BeAnExpertLearner #BeRespectful

As part of our RE learning about Hinduism, Year 5 enjoyed a wonderful visit to Shree Swaminarayan Mandir!

We explored different areas of the Mandir and deepened our understanding of how Hindus worship and pray. We learnt about the sacred murtis (statues of deities) and their importance in Hindu worship. We also had the opportunity to observe how prayers take place inside the Mandir.

Throughout our visit, the children showed great curiosity and respect, asking thoughtful questions to further their understanding of Hindu beliefs and traditions.

A fantastic experience that brought our classroom learning to life! 🛕✨
