Caring for Others ❤️ #berespectful

In RE this week, Year 1 have been learning all about how Sikhs show they care and selfless for others. We listened to the story of 'Guru Nanak and the Boulder' and thought about what it teaches Sikhs about caring. We also learnt all about how Sikhs volunteer at the Gudwara for Langar. We then decided to volunteer during Breakfast Club every morning. We helped butter bagels, clean up, serve cereal and ask children how they were feeling. We had lots of fun and learnt how rewarding it can be to care for others.
