British Values Afternoon #BERESPECTFUL

We have had a brilliant start to Year 1 this week! 

In Maths, we have been looking at sorting objects and counting objects in a larger group.

In English, we have been labelling our face with nouns and have had a go at using some super adjectives to describe!

On Friday afternooon, we discussed one of the British Values- Mutual Respect. We played a game where we showed different ways we can respect our peers and our belonging. We wrote about the ways we are unique and different to one another and highlighted wasy we can show respect to people different from us. We also created some beautiful watercolour images with an picture of oursleves. We used our favourite colours to demonstrate the difference we have.We had lots of fun!
