Brass 🎺

This week, Year 5 wrote an alternate ending to Romeo and Juliet. We started off with role playing the original ending and then brainstorming ideas for an alternate ending. Some of our endings resulted with a happy ending to this classic romantic tragedy.

In Maths, Y5 looked at square, prime and cube numbers. We used our knowledge of factors and multiples as well as our times tables to help us understand this. 

Y5 enjoyed having the brass teacher come in this week to show us how to play the correct notes and practising together as a whole class. 

In science, Y5 looked at the force, water resistance and conducted an investigation by creating boats out of different materials to see which material shows the most resistance.
