Year 5 had a wonderful time visiting Ordsall Hall, where we travelled back in time to the fascinating Tudor era!

We explored what life was like for both rich and poor Tudors, discovering the differences in their homes, lifestyles and daily routines. We even rolled up our sleeves and worked hard to prepare spices for a delicious meal for Sir John!

The children also enjoyed making their own posies and learning about the important duties of knights, including how they protected the royal family.

It was a fantastic hands-on experience that brought our Tudor topic to life! Year 5 showed great enthusiasm, curiosity and wonderful manners throughout the visit. #BeRespectful #BeAnExpertLearner
