A Fantastic Finish! #BeAnExpertLearner

What a wonderful and hardworking half term we have had in Year 5!

In English, we became information experts as we planned and wrote our own non-chronological reports about Amazonian river animals. The children used exciting vocabulary and a range of writing techniques to create informative and engaging reports.

In Maths, we have been busy sharpening our number skills and have become real experts at converting fractions into decimals. The class has shown great determination and confidence when tackling new challenges.

In Science, we carried out an exciting investigation into dissolving. We tested different materials to see which would dissolve in water and discussed what this tells us about the properties of materials.

We were also incredibly impressed with the fantastic homework projects produced this half term. The children showed great creativity, effort and pride in their work, and it was wonderful to see the different ways they presented their learning.

We have all worked incredibly hard this half term and are very proud of the progress the children have made. We are excited to see what next half term brings!
