What a fabulous week! On Wednesday, we visited Oldham Sixth Form College as part of our science topic on heating and cooling. We had great fun learning about reversible and irreversible changes and how materials can change state. During our visit, the children took part in a fun investigation to explore what happens when different materials are heated and then cooled. They observed the changes carefully, made predictions and talked about whether the changes could be reversed! 

The children were brilliant throughout the trip and had a great time using real science equipment. It was a lovely opportunity to bring our science learning to life and the children were so enthusiastic and engaged throughout!
