2- Microbits! #beaproblemsolver

Date: 15th Jan 2026 @ 5:02pm

In computing this week, the children had lots of fun using micro:bits to try out some coding. They learnt how to code the LED lights to display their own names and loved seeing their work come to life.

The children were really engaged, enjoyed fixing any mistakes in their code, and were very proud when their names appeared on the micro:bits. It was lovely to see how confident and excited they were about computing!

In science, we also investigated the temperature of ice. The children used thermometers to measure how cold the ice was and recorded their results, and then measured it every 5 minutes to see the temperature when the ice was melting!
